Next Episode: Building Safety Act – An Update

Join us on 29th April at 9am for the next episode of Construction Cast

Over the last three years, the construction industry has been grappling with the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022. New projects are facing delays navigating approval through gateways 2 and 3 and as cases are making their way through the courts, guidance and advice is evolving. The sector is working hard to understand and react to the new requirements, but there are still many unanswered questions.

To answer some of these, we’ll be joined by three experts in construction and law: David Sawtell (barrister, 39 Essex Chambers), Josh Waterman (managing director, Building Safety Act Consult) and Sanjiv Sangha (Head of Technical, United Living)

We’ll be asking the panel:
• What impact has the BSA had on the construction industry in the last two years?
• What are the challenges we are seeing for those building tall buildings?
• What practical steps can we take to keep projects moving?
• What are the recent court decisions and what can we learn from them?

Join us on 29th April for a 30 minute look at the key points you need to know. Annie will be joined by three top experts in the field from planning and law.
