Speakers

Joining the panel are:

Lucy Lomas, Luma Marketing

Lucy’s an experienced, senior marketing professional. Working predominantly with businesses across property and professional services, her focus is on maximising returns on marketing investment, producing great work for great clients.

For Lucy, marketing is about so much more than PR, graphics, content, or any of its other isolated elements. Although individually these can all prove essential, my focus is firmly on the bigger picture.  The way Lucy approaches business is largely based on values. As well as being a marketer and business owner, she takes an interest in the politics and psychology of everything. Through Luma, Lucy aims to always be a straight-talking addition to clients.  Lucy works with a carefully selected portfolio of clients, providing sensible, jargon-free, practical advice on how a strategic approach to marketing can help them grow and develop their businesses.

Marie Sparkes, Keating Chambers

Marie Sparkes joined Keating Chambers in September 2015 and is now Director of Business Development. She works with the team there, developing and executing Chambers’ domestic and international marketing strategy. Her responsibilities include strategy, brand development, client care, and leading on all marketing communications.

Marie has a degree in Law and an LLM in Medical Law and Ethics from the University of Kent. She is currently undertaking a CIM Level 6 diploma in Professional Marketing. She is also Captain of the Keating Chambers Netball Team and in her spare time volunteers for London Pulse Superleague Netball Team.

Andy Matthews, Andy Matthews Studio

Andy wants to continually improve our knowledge, services and ways of working so we can do better for our people, clients and their projects. In his own words: “I really give a sh*t.”

He combines pragmatism and technical ability with relentless curiosity and ingenuity to add value throughout the design process, from that initial sketch to solving problems on site. And he’s passionate about collaboration – real collaboration. Because it’s only by working with the people who will be using the buildings for years to come that we will leave the built environment better than we found it. Andy’s worked on housing schemes, education buildings, retail fit-outs, art galleries, museums, workspace and heritage projects, putting together and leading big, complex teams. He’s recently been working with Tracksmith (the international running brand) on the fit-out of their new London store.
