What Will Be Covered?
The masterclass will cover a range of topics designed to enhance your understanding of the commercial and legal aspects of construction.
The early afternoon session will begin with the fundamentals of construction contracts and disputes, focusing on the key principles, lessons learned, and common issues that come up in practice. You will learn how to identify potential problems early and take steps to avoid or resolve disputes effectively.
Later in the afternoon, sessions will explore building and fire safety, including a discussion of developments under The Building Safety Act. There will also be a discussion on termination in construction contracts, including the recent Supreme Court case of Hexagon Housing and Providence.
The day will end with a mock adjudication, where attendees can join our panellists in a live adjudication scenario followed by an engaging debate.
Finally, you will have the chance to network with other attendees and speakers throughout the event.
