What will be covered?
The Masterclass will offer wide-ranging topics to enhance your knowledge and provide insights into the commercial and legal aspects of construction.
The morning sessions focus on the evolving Middle East construction sector. They provide an overview of current opportunities and challenges. You will learn how to set up projects effectively and approach contracts to avoid common mistakes.
Later in the morning, the programme will look at improving quality in the sector. Topics include sustainability, the impact of new technologies, and skills gaps. With sessions on planning, managing complex projects, and adapting to legal and cultural changes.
The afternoon sessions will address design changes, managing notices and conducting effective delay analysis. This includes a focus on concurrent delays and the use of the SCL protocol.
The day ends with a focus on building effective legal teams for Middle East disputes. A practical mock DAB will offer insights into how disputes are managed and resolved in practice. Find out how to resolve disputes and tackle dispute resolution in different forums.
Finally, you will have the opportunity to network with both attendees and speakers. All this is packed into one day which includes lunch and refreshments, CPD certification and unrivalled networking opportunities.
